According to the IDF survey on member associations carried out in 2002, several diabetes associations also ran healthcare centres. Activities undertaken by these healthcare centres were multiple. All of them provided education for people with diabetes and a large majority offer consultation, dietary guidance, foot care, eye examination as well as seminars for healthcare providers, as shown in the figure below (see also table).
